My Very Own Poem Scarf from Eden

A few days ago, I was finally able to purchase my very own Poem Scarf.  You may wonder what it is.  I actually chanced upon this beautiful product when I was browsing through this online store called http://shopeden.multiply.com.  As per this website’s text, “Eden is a line of chic maternity and nursing clothes, designed to take a woman through pregnancy and breastfeeding with style.”

A brainchild of model Bianca Araneta-Elizalde, who is also a proud mother of two, EDEN makes use of factory surplus fabrics that give the clothes and products an eco-friendly touch.

A few days ago, I thought I was pregnant.  It was a false alarm. During the time I thought my daughter was going to be a big sister already, I was busy looking through this wonderful website when I chanced upon one of their eye-catching products, their Poem Scarf. Being a lover of poetry myself, (and obviously a very gung-ho mom, thus my very own website PROUD TO BE A WIFE AND MAMA), I immediately was drawn to the loving words she pieced together to share her love for her children, and while I’m also a big fan of scarves, I loved the idea of immortalizing mother’s love in a poem on a piece of clothing.

So I picked up my very own Poem Scarf (went to Rockwell in Makati, it’s available in Aura Athletica) and also picked up one for my own Mom (gave it to her as part of her birthday gift a few weeks ago) and also picked up a few to give to fellow moms close to my heart (can’t say who since they might be reading this now and my surprise would be spoiled! haha!).

I’m truly happy with this product, and I have to say, very excited for when I’ll be able to order pretty clothes from Eden when the Lord decides to bless us with another child.  My first pregnancy was such a joy, and I know that when the next time comes, it’ll be another delight, especially since I wouldn’t have to worry about maternity clothes since I’ll have Eden to order from!

I personally think this is a wonderful gift for your Mom and of course, fellow mothers who are just as amazed by this gift called motherhood.  You might find this funny but I plan to go back and get more scarves in other colors, I just love this product!  I want to share this with moms everywhere!  And of course, when Drian’s a little bit older, I’ll be reading her this poem.  It shares exactly the way I feel about her, and maybe even more.  Kudos to Bianca Araneta-Elizalde for this nice, nice accessory!

   Hi Bianca! I have yet to have the pleasure of meeting you in person, but it’s truly a small world, I have two friends who are friends of yours as well (Aimee and Mica). Glad that you appreciate the blog entry! As for getting pregnant again, we will just wait and see what the Lord has in store for me, my husband, and daughter. Truly, His timing is always perfect!
